Dirty

 

I haven't left my house or answered my phone in THREE DAYS because I know I'll bite the head off the first person I come in contact with. I think it has a lot to do with my mother-in-law, she's being really pushy about wanting to be in the delivery room and wants a good seat for the crowning. I told her that I'm super uncomfortable with ANYONE being "down there" (even my man meat has been banned from standing past my hips) but she wont let up! Every time she calls the house she wants to talk about my vagina, and I'm just so weirded out by it. I don't ask how her lady bits are doing every time she calls, why should it be any different for me?

I do love this woman, but I'm a huge introvert and would never in my wildest DREAMS ask (or even want) to be in full view of someones vagina while they go through such an intimate time. It just feels so personal to me. If there wasn't a baby coming out of there I wouldn't show it to her, I just feel like my girl parts are for her son only and I never thought I would have to fight to keep his MOTHER from wanting to see them.

I feel so yucky about this whole thing. 

3D-4D ultrasound

I just got back from my 3D-4D ultrasound! It was even more wonderful than I could have ever dreamed it would be! Ron's Mom, step mom, and my mom and dad were there with us. They put us in this cute little room with two couches, a plush arm chair for Ron, a bed for me, and a HUGE tv. They had these sweet nursery rhymes playing, and everything was MAGICAL! Lily was very active at first and kept turning away from the camera. She does that when we're trying to get a heartbeat too, she'll swim away every time we find her. She's not ever born yet and already playing games with us! FINALLY, during the last three minutes or so, she turned STUCK HER TONGUE OUT and struck several poses. We have a dvd of it, but couldn't get any good stills of her with her tongue out.

After it was over, the technician said that she really enjoyed working with us, and asked if we could come back in about two weeks and do the 3D-4D ultrasound AGAIN for some new techs in training. FOR FREE! I was very happy to volunteer! I can't wait to see our little monster again and get MORE pictures. Did I mention they were going to do it FOR FREE! WOW!

My mom was joking as we were leaving the place that the baby isn't even born yet and she's already getting modeling gigs. hehehehe.

I tricked the computer into turning on! Too bad I don't really have anything to write about.

Funny/Sad story tho, things were getting a little sexy this morning and Ron kind of freaked out on me "What about the baby! I don't want to poke her!" It was pretty much JUST like the scene in "knocked up" that made me giggle when I saw it because of how that will never happen to us because Ron is such a horn dog. BUT IT DID! Now he's at work and I'm left feeling a little un-pretty.  Are your men so wrapped up in the baby that they aren't interested in sex anymore? Don't get me wrong, I'm GLAD he's got baby on the brain, I'm just kind of shocked is all.

I had an appointment with W.I.C. yesterday and the gave me this super sweet "babies first year" calendar! It's got all these great little stickers to put on special days like all the firsts (word, step, smile, giggle, solid food, etc.), doctors appointments, holidays, etc. It's wicked cute, and I'm so excited for it to be December so I can start using it!

Paula (Ron's mom) called yesterday to ask us about our registry because Target is having a fat sale and she wanted to get us something nice while it was going on. Ron told her how to get to it from online, she said she found what she wanted and they hung up. I don't do surprises. That's probably my one glaring fault in life. If I know I'm going to get something/something is going to happen but don't know what it is I freak out! It will haunt me. I won't be able to get it off my mind, and the very thought of it will consume my entire day. So I peeked after Ron left. She's the only one who'd used our registry so far so it wasn't hard to find out what she got us. SHE GOT US THE CHERRY WOOD DRESSER WE WANTED! It was the most expensive item on our registry! It's fucking beautiful! I'm glowing just thinking about it. I can't wait to see it all set up in our nursery. I'm dieing to get in there and start working on that nursery! Eeeeep!

Whoa, I guess I did have shit to update about. It's funny how much babbling can be done when you put your mind to it! : )








p.s. when I got up and was doing my morning cocoa butter rub down I saw that I have a (very light) line going from my belly button down to my pubic bone. The internet says it's normal, something to do with pregnancy and will go away after the baby comes out. There is also an old wives tale saying that if it goes to the belly button it's a girl, if it goes to the breast it's a boy.

Brother

  

I don't really have anything to update about other than MY BROTHER IS IN TOWN!!! He only lives about an hour away, but for some reason I don't get to see him as much as I'd like. He is in art school full time, works part time at Petes Coffee, and just got a job doing animation for PIXAR. I love him to bits and am so stoked to see him!


That's all really. I'm going to go back in the living room and watch movies with him now!
